THE AAA STAR RATING SYSTEM
Cromwell Cottage is rated
4 stars by the Australian Automobile Association (AAA). The AAA rating system is
based on the facilities available in an accommodation property. The
rating system is based on points, points are awarded for the facilities
available and for the cleanliness and condition of the facilities.
Extra points are added for comfort and value.
The AAA rating system is a
national system and star ratings range from 1 to 5. The star rating
is based on a site visit by an independent expert.
One Star: Basic accommodation with simple furnishings and fittings.
Two Star: Moderate accommodation with comfortable furnishings and facilities.
Three Star: Well appointed establishments offering good comfortable accommodation and facilities.
Four Star: Excellent quality of accommodation, furnishings and
facilities; must provide either individual or ensuite facilities
for each bedroom.
Five star:
International quality of appointments furnishings and decor with an extensive range of first class guest services
and facilities; must provide ensuites to all bedrooms plus the communal areas and bedroom must be fully
air-conditioned with individual controls in each bedroom.
An extra half star is awarded where more comfort and value is offered than the full star rating.
There are no Five Star accommodation properties in Tasmania at present.
